Dental Sales Repesentative

Swish is seeking a full-time sales representative (contract or permanent) to help bring oral microbiome testing to the dental community. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the right candidate will be an essential member of the Swish sales team and will be responsible for dental practice account outreach in their assigned territory – including initial contact, relationship building, program education, business case development, and ultimately practice sign on. This position can be remote, hybrid, or on site in our Burlington, MA office.

  • Develop territory growth plans to achieve revenue targets and other KPIs as set by the company.

  • Contribute to dental practice targeting strategy, identify dental practice targets, and prospect to these accounts.

  • Qualify dental practices, set up customer interactions, develop a compelling business case for each practice, conduct engaging presentations, and sign new accounts.

  • Work with the post-acquisition support team to coordinate required onboarding activities.

  • Perform day-to-day account management activities post-acquisition (initially) or hand off account to an account management team (future).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including post-acquisition support, account management, and marketing to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience across their journey.

  • Track and manage prospect and customer information within the CRM and leverage business intelligence to increase conversion rates.

  • Provide customer and market feedback to management to help drive product and sales process improvements.

  • Perform other duties as requested.

Responsibilities

  • Five+ years of proven dental industry experience with a track record of overachieving targets.

  • Strong phone presence and willingness to make cold calls.

  • Ability to engage with prospects and educate them on new oral microbiome tests and the value the tests bring to the dental practice.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to deliver persuasive presentations and handle objections.

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency with Hubspot (or similar CRM), corporate productivity, and web prospecting tools.

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, science, or a related field.
